Job Summary:

This position is designed to install new security and fire systems and add new equipment to existing security systems. The incumbent must also prepare paperwork for programming of new and existing security systems. In addition the installer should positively represent the company in the community.

Job Requirements:

The incumbent should have past experience in low voltage wiring and some customer relations’ skills. Experience in installation of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, and fire systems are strongly desired but not required. The incumbent must also provide his or her own basic hand tools (screwdriver, 6-foot ladder, hammer, small drill bits…etc.). A clean driving record and some out of town travel are required. A high school diploma or GED, good communication and customer service skills, basic computer experience, and electrical experience are needed. IT & Networking experience helpful. Current BASA/FASA certification desired.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Certify Security, Fire, Intrusion, and Access Control systems.
  • Wiring, mounting of equipment, downloading, and testing new and old Security Systems.
  • Responsible for inventory in custody.
  • Keep log of vehicle inventory.
  • Responsible for turning in all completion paperwork.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to service, repair and install CCTV, Access, Fire and Security systems for customer base, which includes municipal, residential and commercial accounts. In addition the technician should positively represent Redwire in the community.

Job Requirements:

To provide optimum service for clients in alarm monitoring, dispatching, and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements:

Minimum high school diploma or GED, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multitask, basic computer and Windows skills. This position must be willing to work a flexible schedule – weekends, holidays, evenings.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for responding to alarms in the prescribed manner.
  • Maintain accurate accounts of events for alarm activation, dispatch, and other general activity.
  • Troubleshoot system problems with clients to restore operation to the clients satisfaction.
  • Dispatch service technicians for after hours repair of systems.
  • Attend operators meetings and any scheduled training events.
  • Work closely with technicians and installers during service calls and new account setups.
  • Run and process client reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Assist in general clerical work and other miscellaneous duties.
  • Other tasks as required.

Central Station Manager and Shift Supervisor(s). No positions report to this position. All non-management personnel are peers.

In order to be successful the incumbent must perform the necessary daily activities including making phone calls, setting up meetings, cold calling in the assigned territory, making presentations, and following-up with clients and prospects. The incumbent should have a degree in Marketing or related field or should have equivalent experience in Outside Sales. The incumbent must have excellent human relation skills and have a propensity to work with and for people. The incumbent must possess a positive attitude and be highly motivated and self directed. The incumbent should be able to drive an automobile, use a phone, type documents, and communicate clearly and effectively to prospective clients, business associates and fellow employees. The incumbent should have a good working knowledge in computers (M/S Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), Fax machines, and copy equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Make site visits to existing customers to assess their needs and requirements.
  • Make cold-calls to businesses within assigned territories to obtain information about gatekeepers and decision-makers for that business.
  • Make calls to establish appointments for presenting information about company products and services.
  • Develop client relationships and make presentations using our presentation tools to communicate to the client the unique products and services available only through our company.
  • Develop specific, tailored proposals based on clients needs and present the proposals to the client using established pricing methods approved by management.
  • Follow-up with the client to close the sale, sign the Client Agreement, Collect the agreed revenues, and schedule the installation of the proposed system.
  • Complete the sale by demonstrating the system to the client and collecting any remaining revenues (if necessary).
  • Maintain contact with existing clients to further develop relationships and to ensure on-going support after the sale.
Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the President or Regional Sales Manager where applicable. Other Security Consultants, Install Technicians and Service Technicians are peers. No other positions report to the Security Consultant position.

  • Participate with sales management in the development of a residential sales process, to ensure a successful launch and ongoing success.
  • Participate in training additional residential consultants in other markets, as needed.
  • Meeting production goals and quotas established by sales management.

  • Develop client relationships and make presentations using Redwire presentation tools to communicate to the client the unique products and services available only through Redwire.

  • Provide support and training to the client, to include app and video features that are offered.
  • Exercise company standard processes of closing a sale which includes obtaining the Client Agreement, associated documents, and collecting the fees.
